it's a private Intranet network. Some reasons that they lock their intranet is because it might be a private network for the staffs there or something. I don't think you have any business with them there, or if you do have things to do there, you should have known the password or been given a password by them. Ask for them for a login, if you do have some things to do with them, they have all rights to reject you though.
