You can't just look at one area, particularly where the urge being controlled is likely different.
Most women I know are better at 'holding back' from having sex, but most men I know are better at not spending money on shoes or home furnishings. That doesn't really show anything though, other then that many men have higher sex drives then women, and women are more interested in shoes and their home.
I'm trying to think of something both like - say food. I don't know that there's really a differance.

I think it's important to make a distinction between self-control (will power) and stubbornness.
I find that both men and women can be stubborn, but I think women have greater self-control. I believe we men are more likely to be impulsive than women are, and I think THAT's what this question is about.

Hmm....depends on the situation. I think in things like showin your feelings to the person you care about n stuff...guys are more "self-controlled". They "play it cool" much better, you know? And when it comes to sex, i think women are more self-controlled.

I can control myself 99% of the time more then my boyfriend, but not more then my brother, but alot more then my dad so I'd say women,
