I will visit NY for 1st time 30 sep to 3 Oct - I'm a jazz fan. What is the 1 jazz venue I should visit?

This is the 1st and probably only time I see NY
I've been a bebop fan for 40 years.

The Village Vanguard is without a doubt the best of the famous jazz clubs. Think of all the greats who stood on that stage. Its still a great place. The Vanguard is part of jazz history.

You're super lucky too , because the Clark Terry quintet is playing the week you'll be in NYC.
