They have a few different uses.
They are available in a variety of sizes.
Some folk use them as a way of increasing their tolerance to objects in their butt, thus they start with small and work up to large. This makes it easier for them to be f**ked.
Others use them for sexual pleasure ar the feeling of being penetrated there can be sexually arrousing.
They are also used in bondage or S/M situations where they are used as part of Domination whereby a sub is forced to do something degrading as such wearing a plug. In this situation the plug sometimes has an animal tail attachment to it!
Of course some folk may be doing it for a combination of all three reasons!
