Roulette is the least favorable table game for the player. The house edge in a standard double 0 game is 5.26%. The best odds for the player can be found on blackjack, craps, and baccarrat. The house edge in a standard craps game with 10X odds is just .18%. The house edge in a standard single deck blackjack game is .20%. Casinos often develop variations of these popular player-friendly games to take more of your money, such as 6:5 blackjack or 6 deck continuous shuffle blackjack, or craps with just 1x odds, so avoid those. The house edge on baccarrat (betting banker) is 1.17%

I'm going to be controversial and say slots. But before anyone gives me a thumbs down, let me qualify that. You have to play a slot machine in an area of the casino with a guaranteed payout better than 98%. Not all casinos have this, but some have a specific area of the slots that have a minimum payout guarantee. There's usually a sign up boasting about it. Now it doesn't mean that you can't lose, but it does give you a concrete idea of the house edge. In this case just 2%. For those who claim the answer is blackjack or craps, or video poker, I do accept that the house edge can be very low in these games, but ONLY if you play the games correctly. For example, the house edge on Blackjack is probably around 99%, if a player hits any hand that is not blackjack. The great thing about the slots concept is that if you can find a high payout area of the casino, only play in it for maximum coins, there is no skill and no knowledge required. Just put the money in and press the button. For all other games there is a learning curve and during that curve (which can be quite a long curve for some players) the edge given to the house is WAY higher than a couple of percent.

Actually the odds are not really that good, considering that you have 2 additional chances to lose with the house winning on 0 and 00. The absolute best odds of all the games is in Blackjack. If you know basic strategy and stick to it by not playing on intuition, your chances are 2% in your favor over the long run. In other words, 52% over the house.

The next in line as far as best odds is Craps, but you really need to understand all the side bets that you can play.

European Roulette has a house advantage of only 2.7%. that is only if you bet 1-1 or 2-1 bets. All the other bets have a reduced payout.

Also in roulette you have a 64.8% chance of winning if you bet 1-24, but your payout is only 50% of your bet and you are risking more money.

Some say blackjack has 50/50, but in fact, in blackjack, the house has the advantage in that it wins if you both bust.
