I think that Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) was one of the funniest, with her being weird adding to the humour. Although Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) was also very funny, as he could be pretty stupid at times [Season 9, Episode 19: The One With Rachel's Dream], but also because I like science a lot, so I could relate to him a bit (although paleontology's not my thing).

wow, this is hard- how could you watch friends and not love ALL of them?? i love ross too, because he's a nerd- but a gorgeous, sweet one! chandler's really funny, and i have the same sarcastic sense of humor as him. joey is so lovable- he's really just an oversized kid, and such a sweety! rachel could be kind of ditzy, but she's a great friend and knows how to outsmart the others when she wants something. monica is just funny in how anal she is, and phoebe is so in her own little universe it's cute.

The combination of Joey and Chandler, the two characters bounce of each other so well, but individually are only half as funny!
