That's nice. I don't hate France. The fact that we live a half hour from the border might have something to do with it, lol.
And yeah, the US is hated, what else is new? I think all those countries that don't like us don't deserve our money anymore. We ought to remove it. No more aid, for ANY country that publicly denounces us.
So. If a civil war breaks out in one of those countries? Too bad. How about an earthquake or a tsunami? Too bad. How about if we have another Hitler, who decides to take over some of these countries? Too bad. Until the war's at least on our street (figuratively speaking, our doorway would be too close), too bad.
See how much they hate us then.
This doesn't mean that I think every other government should bow down before us, or anything like that. But they do need to understand that we live in constant fear now, of WWIII. And we will do ANYTHING to stop it.
Oh, and for the record: I have no problem with the countries in the UN who opposed taking action in Iraq. However, most of them did so because they were in Hussein's pocket. It was a huge scandal, and that's why the war went forward without the UN's approval (which, by the way, is our prerogative). Unfortunately, people seem to focus on the latter (lack of UN support at the outset), rather than the former (the scandal of the Food for Oil programs).

We don't hate the French half of what we hate the Russians. The Russians are the cause of terrorism worldwide. If they never invaded Afghanistan then the current situation would not exist. Look at the problems they are causing in Chechnya. Those poor people just want to be left alone, those freedom fighters will do anything to win their independence from the oil grudging Russians. It's all about oil with the Russians. They'll let Iranians develop nuclear weapons to sell them technology--they have turned into the biggest capitalist in the world.

Tsar... I did a bit of legwork on you... There is a post where you clearly imply that you are from the US. The one where an Italian is asking for advice on where to visit while in our country. Your response to the gentleman was "why are you coming here? Your statement above implies that you aren't from the US "the only country that isn't liked is yours". Why is it that you didn't say ours? I'm just curious.
Are you trying to mislead people and incite hatred for Americans? If so, why?

I like France, and im English..its more of a mutual love-hate with us, but thats historic.
Yeah, on a world scale France is a highly respected country, and rightly so. She was, and maybe still is, a Great Power, so she knows what shes doing.

Why are the French so concerned that America doesn't like them? Are they perpetually stuck in the third grade? Don't they have more important things to worry about? Things like:
"Oh, today is the 5th, time for my monthly bath!"
or
"Jeez, I hope my herpes doesn't flare up again now that I started seeing that really hairy chick named Fanny!"
or
"Wow, I'm so glad that we don't have to speak German, thanks to all of those unsightly dead Americans that were messing up our countryside for so long!"
By the way, we don't much give a damn who likes us or doesn't. Haven't you noticed?

We're not fond of the people nor policies. British people generally are'nt fond of the people or policies either. Who cares about south america or africa, seriously, they're not exactly political powerhouses.
