Crikey!.... I know I will, there aren't to many people out there willing to jump out of a tinny and onto a 8'ft croc's back in murky water!

Yea, i'm not exactly a fan but i've seen his shows and very supportive of what he does thats why its really sad to know that such a man is no longer around with us, Steve was such an inspiration to aussies and the rest of us. God bless his soul.

i had NO idea that even happened to him, until my hubby mentioned it to me in a conversation today.

i find it VERY strange that someone who wrestled thousand pound crocodiles, would die from a freak accident in an encounter with a sting ray! just odd! i had my money on the croc. *no dis-respect intended*

i will miss his crazy @ss, but then...they do have re-runs. I'm sure he will be missed VERY much by his family and friends, and the people that worked with him.

I didn't like the things he did, always taunting the animals, like he had toget an element of danger on his shows. But it is a terrible shock. I feel bad for his wife and kids.

Well, he will live on in reruns forever.
Frankly, with his constant teasing of dangerous and venomous beasts, it's amazing he lasted this long ... "Ooo, this deadly spotted rattlah's really pissed off. Watch me tie 'im in a bowknot fer grins!"
He died quickly, stung by a venomous seabeast.
Fitting, really.
