Make sure you get checked out by your doctor asap. Always better to be safe than sorry. I had the same stomach pains and everything was okay, but my doctor reinforced that it was very important that I came and saw her, because anything abnormal can be signs of a serious problem. So make sure you get checked out. Best wishes!

Depending how far on you are these are proberly what is called round ligament pains. I used to get these during the first 3 to 4 monthes and is caused by your womb stretching and making room for your growing baby. I only found this out by asking my midwife at the time after a while the discomfort stopped. I know it's worrying try not to if it persists have a word with your midwife or doctor hope that helps and good luck.

Stomach pain or bellyache may be caused due to a problem in the organs in the abdominal region including digestive system, the liver, the gall bladder, pancreas, the appendix and the kidney. Minor problems like gastroenteritis can cause severe stomach pain, while fatal illnesses like cancer may cause only mild pain. Gynaecologist now!
You need to start the cycle of check-ups and tests that everything is Ok. They will comment on your diet and probably recommend Folic Acid Pills to beef up your blood's Iron content.
All in all, congratulatons and everything good!

I cramped pretty bad through my entire first trimester with my second child. No bleeding, just alot of cramps. Doctor told me it was just my uterus growing & stretching. So, yea, it can be totally normal. If your worried then inform her midwife at their next appointment.
