I would think the Stem Cell article definitely. As for the gorilla, I suppose a case could be made about putting wild animals in cages but I've read that the life expectancy of wild animals in zoos is much longer than in the wild. They have ewxcellent medical care and guaranteed food and water. I'm also talking about zoos and parks here - not animals kept in tiny cages, of course.
Getting back to Stem Cell - it's ethical because it talks about destroying embryos.This is very similar to the abortion debate which is definitely an ethical dilemma. Here in Australia, the Federal Government is going to have a "conscience" vote on Stem Cell research i.e. members can vote according to their conscience and not along party lines.
