on the news about the romanian orphanages? it was so upsetting the children are living in awful conditions, being tied up, having sellotape wrapped around thier heads, malnutrition they wer so skinny, and having their limbs tied behind thier backs it was awful they just had 2 sit in a rooma all day, lots of them had developed mental problems due to the treatment!!!!babies wer lying in cots with no one near them or left to lie on the floor all day!

imbossabilityoftruth i was not saying anything against romania i was simply talking about the orphanages all over i only used romania as an example as it was wat the programme showed i am aware that it happens all over! i was more interested in the important issue of the bad treatment the children wer recieving rather than an stupid factor of wer it was happenin!if you dnt believe me watch it again 2nite.

I've always been cyical, detatched and quite unfeeling to the plight of those I do not relate to. I've lost several family members without so much as shedding a tear.
Last night that report brought a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye.

I had to stop myself from smashing my fist into the wall at the sheer horror of it - would've hurt and not really been very useful. I suppose we should be grateful how well off we are in the UK and lots of other more civilised countries. Will entry into the European Community help countries like this become more civilised? I hope so

That don't happen in Romania, you little whining punk! What the hell are you on? How can you even say such a thing? I live in Romania and i have friends who've been in orphanages and they're all fine. You must be an american for believing anything you see on TV!!!
