i'm a girl and i'll tell you why i've never invited any guy anywere (a date). that's because i don't want him to know i like him. there is a difference between a girl knowing that a boy likes her and a boy knowing a girl likes him: girls usually make a choice before dating a boy but if a boy is invited by a girl he usually thinks "ok, a good oportunity for me to fu ck her. why not try?" and i don't want to put myself in this situation. i'll never know if he accepted because he liked me or just wanted to try me.

i ought to prefer to experience particular yet I also comprehend he's probable mendacity to me. adult males are more effective gutsy than females and are not afraid to ask a lady out; we harbor our thoughts so it isn't likely that you've been the first.

Good question;
I'd be afraid that he was going out with me just to be polite, and not because he actually liked me and that he'd tell all his friends about this dreadful geek that asked him out and have a good laugh over the whole thing.
At least if he asks you, you know he's interested. Its like a test.

It is all associated with our primeval instincts. Men are the hunters whilst women are the hunted.Women need to feel appreciated and above all, sought after, sexually and physically attracted towards men. Mans basic animal instinct is go out and find somebody to mate with, women on the other hand tend to let the man do the chasing.

reminds me of the saying.... if my g'friendl had b*lls she's be my boyfriend.... equality is gr8.... and it's gr8 when a girl doesn't play games or have agenas and can just ask a guy out... and be normal.. w/out the 'I like him but dont want him to know'.... and by the way I'm busy this evening so dont ask me out :)
