I have just been accepted based on my expretise,is my outfit a hold,are can I be myself around top video gamers?

I think a girly girl around a bunch of sexless gamers would be treated like a goddess........yeah it's ok, it sound like it would be a huge advantage!

In many careers, no. There's a book you might check out called "Nice girls don't get the Corner office 101. Be a 'girly girl' outside the office off company time. Be a woman with a career in the office and leave the girly talk etc out.
My kids and their friends choose the 'male' charactors in video games because there are more males to females and the males are usually stronger. Give you some hint??

I worked at a otel and my desk clerk was younger female omg all these guys! I would be in the back room cracking up. They crap men say I was like man I am dreaming.

My boss is very much a girly girl and I work in a male dominated field. Although I got a promotion, so we will be equals soon .... wooohooo!

yes, I am also in a male dominated industry, it is perfectly ok to be *girly girly* sometimes we get hired for just that reason

If you want respect for the work you do, don't dress too slutty. Otherwise, it shouldn't be a problem. Especially if you were dressed girly girl at your interview.
