You know, ive been looking for a long time and I just cant find her, what is it that you have to do? How did people that have already found this get there? What are people that arnt there trying?

I have been told so many times to stop looking. I've put myself through internet dating, singles nights and speed dating and I believe it has had a damaging effect on my self esteem and respect. I know people reading this may think god those are desperate measures trying to meet someone, but hey I'm now 29 and I've never had a boyfriend!
I am now working on trying to love myself (which is not easy) then love will come to me when I least expect it....ie in my tracksuit bottoms with greasy hair!
Good luck in finding the one.....it may take a year it may take years....

The right person will not pass you by, you will find her, their is an old family saying you have to travel a long road to get to your destination, go out have fun with friends, or even try dating companies, but don't look to hard just keep the faith that she will find you and you will fate always steps in when you least expect it.

It's everywhere the right ones fall victim of people how will use and dump them and vise-versal. It's only by patience and faith that you can find your soul mate.
I am also searching but still hoping that someday will find the best of all.
Keep doing what is right not what people are doing to make them come around them. cos' you don't know maybe she looking at you trying to see if you will change, wanting to be careful.
Think fast and be wise, appreciate them and mind your languge.

well i shall give you some advice, starting on this website isn't a good start! :] To be honesnt, it will just come when you least expect it, i mean your trying to hard so whatever girl you get with you think to much, you think like, i wonder if this girl will be the love of your life and then they girlfriend might get abit freaked out when you say something to her just take it slow and take it as it comes and it will work out for the best! trust me!

Actually in all seriousness, the best way to meet someone is to be out in a group of friends, and facilitate sub-groups from this in which you are included. In this way, others in those groups bring their friends and your prospective partner.
In truth, we all want someone to talk to, and making conversations with people at work, on the bus, in restaurants etc gives you practice, and makes you seem a nice guy

Be yourself and you will then be very attractive and the right person will find you naturally - in fact you may look up one and that person may just be standing there but you need to be ready to welcome them into your life. You may be surprised but I met my husband (of 30 years) one day when I was certainly NOT looking - I was welding and I switched off the gas, removed my goggles and he was just standing there beaming at me. It wasn't the most romantice encounter and yet he was the man for me!

you poor soul, you are desperate to love and be loved, sadly this is always visable to the possible canditates, and lets face it, desperate aint pretty. my advice to you hunni, is just to forget about mrs right, concentrate on other things that make you happy, friends socialising..what ever, and i am sure..when u least expect it, believe me, you and mrs right will innevitably meet, because fate brings you together not because you went searching, you find true love in the strangest of situations, so just go with the flow, and be happy! xx

Just marry someone, and learn to live with 'em.
No such thing as a soul mate, just be happy with what you've got. Women are women and there ain't no figuring them out.
Been married now 18 years, and finally got most of the wrinkles ironed out.
