Do it need a question to decide it was fair or not?
1200 victims from the Lebanese side most of them are children under 10 years old, HAS BEEN KILLED BURNING.
from the israeli side most of victims are soldiers.
israel has the right to get back their 2 kidnapped soldiers by fighting the hizbllah, not by killing children.

Yes it is fair.
Hezbollah is a terror organization blamed for a truck bomb attack against an American base in Lebanon and for some hijackings too. Hezbollah also used to kidnap western civilians some time ago.
Hezbollah built up this massive armory of rockets to be used against Israeli civilians. Each rocket had been modified to include ball bearings as shrapnel to cause maximum casualties amongst civilians. Hezbollah used civilian areas to launch rockets into Israel to provoke Israel to respond militarily on those areas. Hezbollah used to place its offices in civilian buildings knowing fully well that those buildings might come under attack during a war. Hezbollah also used to store their arsenals in homes and schools knowing fully well that the arsenal might be attacked. They had rocket launchers built into residential buildings too endangering their own people.
Hezbollah had no regret rocketing civilian areas indiscriminately. They never took care not to target civilians. They operate behind the cover of civilians most often. They even put their civilians in harms way.
Israel on the other hand warned civilians to leave the area before they bombarded any area. Each strike was pin point on a Hezbollah target thereby minimizing civilian casualties.
Israel cares about civilian lives Hezbollah does not. That's the bottom line.Hezbollah has to be got rid of.
Don't forget they provoked the war !

Not Fair. Israel used F16, warships, tanks, shopisticated artillery, smart bom, while Hezbollah used old Katyusha rockets.

I think it sucked. But it is a messed up world and it had to be done. War isn't about what is "fair". It is about stopping a clear and present danger to your nation. Hezbollah obviously was a clear and present danger.

Fair, no. The Terrorists didn't warn Israel and just attacked and killed a lot of innocent people. Fair would have been for them to openly attack so they could have been slaughtered more easily.
The real cause was *** holes keep blaming Israel for the problems.

bec Israel wanted to hammer down part of Middle East..
here was another global crime and the global community just stared at it.
a crime that we are all part of bec so many civilians were killed.
have you heard the saying; you are responsible for the things you do as much as for the things you dont.
and we all didnt do anything about that..

The war wasn't "on Lebanon"... it was to recover two kidnapped Israeli soldiers. Wouldn't you want your two children to be rescued?
