I saw a documentary about this, and read into it. For a country that leave its prisoners of war in vietnam to die is capable of anything. they only ever get involved in something that involves their own interest. The first rule of business is investment = return. Was this all about business of oil and gas. Hamad Karzai, the new president of Afghanisatn sat on the board of bush seniors oil company. If its a about democratising the world, why do they never mention China. Cheap labour i Guess. What d'ya reckon peeps ?

Yes they did cause the attacks on them self. Insurance documents prove that the twin towers were insured against "Acts of Terrorism" a few months before it was destroyed. The twin Towers had defects, and had to be pulled down in 2020, but that would have been a major loss. Now that insurance money has been paid out, (for which Bush profited from), there is no loss. This claim even went to the Federal court and the insurers insisted that this was staged. And what a coincidence, minutes after the twin towers were struck, they said it was Bin-Laden. How the hell can you find out that quickly. Like you said, INVESTMENT = RETURN. I agree with you totally. American people, STOP BEING GULLIBLE. DONT LISTEN TO BUSH AND THE MEDIA. Anyway, far worst than 9/11 is happening everyday in the Middle-East, and all because of America. Day by Day, the people of the Middle - East are being killed, we may even call this genocide, and all because of Bush (America). This type of behavior from America is making these people more and more angry against America. America should practice what is SO CALLED preach, "NO TO TERRORISM". They should stop interfering in International Affairs and look at there own country. America has one of the highest crime rates in the world. Sort out your own people first.

No I don't think they did.

I think its really nasty and insutling that some people keep insisting that America did it themselves.

May I ask if you are a Muslim? I've noticed that Muslims all seem to insist that 9/11 was deliberately staged by America. Its like they can't face up to what their Muslim "brothers" are capable of and have done.

Is it because they find it too painful to face up to the fact that the religion they felt was so wonderful and made them superior has been exposed as having a vicious element? Is it simply denialism in order to preserve your own pride and ability to beleive in your religion?

If so I suggest that Muslims need to WAKE UP! Muslims caused 9/11 and 7/7 and have been plotting the recent bomb attacks - it is a fact and no amount of conspiracy theories will change this. Until Muslims face up to this and are willing to take some responsibility for denouncing and telling the police of their Muslim brothers who support and engage in terrorism then the attacks will go on.

And as these terrorists are not selective about who is murdered in their attacks, then next time it could be YOU or YOUR loved ones!

My what a question. Like the majority of the populace, I can"t imagine America doing this to themselves, HOWEVER, the more I read about the various aspects of 9/11 the more unsure I have become. If you are interested in watching another DVD I strongly suggest you get a copy of LOOSE CHANGE 2. I see they are available on EBAY at a nominal charge. Watch it with an Open Mind, you will find it very interesting. The narrator just lists the facts without forcing any sort of opinion down your throat.

I think their foreign policy may have had some implication on the attack, I also think that it was not prevented from happening to the full extent of the american intelligence community. Bush needed a reason to attack Iraq, which he got at the cost of over 3,000 innocent lives, and many more since lost in combat.

It was the first time that America has been hit on home soil, and I think it was a wake up call for them. The brits suffered at the hands of the IRA for over 30 years, the americans thought they were indestructable. How wrong they were. But they now drag the rest of us in to retaliatory attacks against foreign countries. GO Bush, no really be gone!!!

I'm glad to see that there are other people who are starting to look at the facts and wonder. It is very evident that a lot of things do not seem to match up like the government tells everyone. There is much profit in war for the right people. I do feel as if the government is not doing something right here, although it's hard to say who is not telling truths. I am anxious for the 2008 polls so Bush can get out of office. I'd love to see what happens when a new president is elected, as there will definately be a great deal of change occurring.

your 'avin a larf

there were at least 2 attempts to blow up the WTC - seen as a symbol of what seemingly mainy people felt was the domination of the world by America and Jews.

There have been too many attacks (potential, planned, thwarted and completed) by people ostensibly followers of Islam (purportedly an religion of peace). Richard Read [Shoe Bomber], 9/11, Bombings in London, Paris, Madrid, Algeria

There are too many apologists for the conduct of such radical muslims (you may not regard them as Muslims, they themsleves do, and possibly reagrd you as apostate)

There is precious little oil & gas in Afghanistan (well none proven to my knowledge, there could be after all its very close to Iran & the caucuses, but the geology is different). There is a possibility that apipeline may be run through it)

As regards China - its too big a country for any nation (or group of nations) to do anything about it. its a law unto itself. it has nuclear weapons, it has a massive standing army. And perhaps far more scarily its re arming rapidly. its a partner int he daft Gallileo satellite navigation system (ie it has access to the GPS style navigation / weapon aiming systems used by the US & UK). It human rights record is appalling, its treatment of its people horrific (they still laud their mass murderer of a leader (Mao Tse Tung) who like Stalin (and seemingly now Mugabe) believed the best way to improve agriculture was to destroy it).

This kind of "blame the victim" for the crime is always sure to provoke debate. But it's just advocacy gone awry.

Terrorism is a real threat to the entire world, and no amount of spin or double-talk will ever change that.

Of course business is involved, anyone who chereishes their ability to buy anything they want or need must realize that the world politic is and always has been commerce. It's what makes the world go around - NOT theories on civic duty.

But radical fundamentalists who kill wantonly, randomly and rampantly, and cloak themselves behind a rhetoric of religious dogma are simply full of CRAP.

What THEY want is to control the world themselves and would force all of us to their will if they had the chance. I'm sure that the will they would force on us would not be palatable to many of us.

No, the attacks required a level of sophistication that the Bush regime isn't capable of. Although I do believe that because of the ineptitude of the Bush administration, the attacks were allowed to happen. Had Gore won the election in 2000, I'm pretty sure that those nineteen Saudi Arabian Nationals would have been caught before they attempted to board the planes. Bush was restructuring the operations of the Federal Law Enforcement agencies to accommodate his agenda, and that may have provided the opening they needed.

No.
It was the failure of the Islamic Nations to provide the ethic, the protestant work ethic, to get off their asses or arses and make life better for their people. Islam requires regular prayers disrupting the working day and making believers feel disenfranchised, "everything is gods will", is rammed down their throats at regular intervals. As I understand it organised regular prayer is fundemantal to Islam'
The West, Merica, Yerp (America and Europe) are christian fundamentalist areas, Love the Lord thy God, Love thy Neighbour, being the core commandment s and Greater Love hath no Man but that he lays down his life to save his brother, the excuse for war..
Nowhere does jesus Christ advocate organised prayers with a Church building and priests, he rebelled and cast out the money lenders from the synagogue at one stage, and all his preaching was ad hoc, all he said was whenever 3 or more gather together (to eat) they should drink wine, and break bread to remember him.
All Protestant and Catholic "Religions" are splinter sects which have left this core beleif yet most Americans and Brits and Europeans, even "Muslims" accept Christian doctrine, such as All men are equal, yet Islam and Jewish doctrine put their followers above all others, Curiously the nominally Christian Nazis did the same,
Americans rebell against Islamic doctrine, Freedom, Womens freedom is close to the Americans heart, All men are equal, quite why the Yanks think Jesus meant men and women are equal beats me, but they do and if they see some one killing a beautiful, or ugly for that matter, young girl simply because she has had sex with someone to whom she is not married then the need to intervene clicks in.
What both Islam and West fail to realise is that both religions and traditions come from the people, The vast majority in the West can function and fight for their rights without instruction from above, and enough Muslims can fight without instruction to enable the authorities attempts at surveillance to be negated.
If Al, the bloke at the delicatessan, suddenly blows hmself and his car up using half a ton of fertilliser and some diesel in the good old IRA manner, and has never visited a Terrorist Web site or recieved a newsletter or spoken of his hatred for his neighbours there is little the security forces can do, but suicide is a one shot, at the end of the day the operative to victim ratio is poor compred to non suicide missions and Islam is ineffective for this reason.
The Christian Terrorist is more effective, the Chap in Ireland who walked into a Pub, shot a whole magasine from his machine gun, reloaded, shot some more and walked out, that is heroic and cost effective. Suicide is just giving up.

It is this culture clash which made 9/11 inevitable, the bravery of ordinary passengers who foiled the 4th flight seizure attempt on 9/11 should send shockwaves through the islamic terrorist world,
He who survives lives to fight another day, and have children who fight in future. That is why Islam will fail.
9/11 was a one shot. London, Paris, Tokyo, Frankfurt, should all have been hit that day.
Islam thought the fall of the Twin Towers would bring down Capitalism, it just destroyed the reputation of Islam.

No America did not cause 9/11 and should continue to rid the world of tyranny and to bring democracy and freedom, and as Islam seems hell bent on denying freedom and democracy it seems that we have a long war ahead.
