If you somehow managed to possess the ability to walk on water (calming the sea in such a manner that you wouldn't fall), managed to cross all the border crossings without being detained/shot at/stuck/etc., ensured the destruction of all buildings/terrain features/etc. located on the equator into a path able to be walked upon (crawling, climbing, scaling, etc. are not walking!), were able to carry or obtain enough food and liquid for sustenance, did not sleep, did not become ill or injured, did not die, and walked an average speed of exactly 2.5 miles per hour, then you would reach your starting point in 415 days, 37 minutes and 11.9712 seconds.

OK : let's imagine that there is no sea to swim in, and that there is only land to walk on. The earth's circumference is 40 000 km, let's suppose you can walk 10 hours a day, at the average speed of 5 km/h : you'd need 800 DAYS to walk around the earth following the equator. Have a good day (and good walk ;-)

If you could walk on water and you walked 24 hours a day at a speed of 4mph, it would take 259 days. If you walked for say 8 hours a day it would take 778 day or 2 years, 6 weeks and 6 days. The distance is 24901 miles

Unless you can walk on water it would be impossible. Most of the equator is situated over the ocean, it only crosses the land in a few places including Africa, Indonesia and Central America.

The earth is approximately 24,901.55 miles (40,075.16 kilometers) around at the equator.
A healthy person can walk approximately 20 miles in one day.
Provided you could somehow walk on water for most of that journey, it would take you 1245.08 days (3.41 years) to walk around the world.
