L = Lima (lee ma) , We could change it up though....... I think L should be......... L = Lucky (It would be easier to remember).

There is another phonetic alphabet that emergency personel use in which L = Lincoln (This incorporates names instead of the government alphabet A = Adam, B = Boy, C = Charles etc.....)
