Real is a nobility title given by the King of Spain to teams in that country and some in Latin America like Real España in Honduras. The name is issued with a Certificate from the King.
In the case of Villareal it has nothing to do with it just that the 4 words real are in the name but have no meaning on their own in Villareal's case.

"Real" (which also means royal) is a common word in the names of Spanish football clubs, such as Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Real Valladolid, Real Betis, Real Zaragoza, Real Oviedo and similarly named football (soccer) clubs in other countries, such as Real Salonica in Greece and Real Salt Lake in the United States. This sense also gives rise to the name of the archaic ball game real tennis.
