on the depo contraceptive injection for 2 months. now in the 9th week i have started a period after having none since starting the injections. i have not been late with any of the injections.

Its normal.. but i say get off the depo i was on it for a year n a half and it totally messed me up.. my depression went worse i tryed killin my self... it also messes ur period up i came off it i had a period on n off for 6months das after i didnt have a period for a year... depo is bad idea i would go on summin else if i was u..

I had one depo injection and I bled for 6 months! Every month I would get 2 days where I wouldnt bleed and the rest of the month I bled. It was like having periods the wrong way around! It was agony and I was raw down there. So suffice to say, I NEVER had those injections ever again. I needed to go on the pill for one month to break this weird cycle then I was back to normal. It was condoms after that. I refused to put any of those chemicals into my body ever again.

ok no need to worry this is normal during the first month or two as the depo settles into your system. I was on it for 7 years and had a bit of bleeding during the first couple of monthes then it stopped altogether. Word of warning though..depo will put you weight on and I had to come it after 7 years because of very low oestrogen levels and I'm now on Cerazette pill.Hope it goes ok for you.

I have heard nothing but bad reviews on the Depo. My cousin was 115 when she started the sht and 155 when she stopped . In a years time..It affects everyone woman differently, just depends
