Throw it away.
It's new, then it should have a warranty, but I hope it's covered. Call the service centre, now!

Was it plugged in when you left it? "muck" in the water with conductive material could have dried and settled on the circuits causing it to fail. It's POSSIBLE, you could salvage the CPU itself (not the mainboard, that's almost certainly gone) and with some work and luck, the hard drive (by buying and IDENTICAL in every way model online and replacing the circuit board on the old drive with the one from the new one - VERY CAREFULLY. Else send it to a data recovery service). Everything else is probably junk.

computer is an electronic product. contact of water on its circuits may causes electric shocks to its circuits destroying all the functions.
even a small part is damaged on motherboard by electric shock, your computer may not work properly.

water damage is no good. Water shorts out your electric circuits. I would suggest you get a new computer.

I would take it to a computer person. one of the worst things that can happen to a computer, is water contact. I would definitely have someone take a look at it.
