yeah i feel so sad and he died from such a rare thing. i was having a sleepover sunday night and then i was watching the news at 3 in the morning and i saw this story when it was breaking news. it is so sad he was so talented and he could have done so much more he was only 44! it is tragic that he died from a poisonous sting ray that shot him right through the heart. he was doing something great for the world he was taping footage of the barrier reef's most deadliest when he was stung. they still have the footage but they are not sure if they want the public to view it. my heart goes out his family especially his children. they are so young and they never got to see how great a man Steve Irwin really was. it is terrible.

Sorry, yes, I feel for his wife and kids.
Surprised, heck no, the man lived a very dangerous life. The only thing surprising was a STING RAY. The probability of a sting ray stabbing someone in the heart is incredibly small in addition to the many times the man's been bit by snakes, crocs and how many others, and have that sting ray take him out!

Depends on how you look at death. Some fear it, others see if it's a good death, Irwin's was in the second category. He died doing what he was good at, what he loved doing.
Death means that you will never hear that person speak out any further, will not do things that living people do any more.
Feel sorry for his death because I will never hear another 'crikey', another report an animals, yes, I think so.

He was a nutter... And for a nutter there is no better way to die than at the mercy of natural creature.
Pity and sorrow are not required as mourning for the past is a human psychological fault. What is past, is done. Forget it.
He has left behind a legacy... That is what is important.
The 'larger than life' image that we so rarely see this day in age (like with Steve Erwin), is to do with the human mind being overactive in thoughts. This can be avoided by living amoung nature, as what he proactively did since his childhood.

I never heard of Steve Irwin till he died. But of what i've read since i think he was amazing. The way how one shall depart is of no significance its how well one has lived that matters. He led a full life most cant even imagine.

yes i do he was brave. he did all that stuff with snakes and crocodiles and other dangerous animals and he had to die underwater doing a documentary. that was a freak accident because people swim with stingrays in some places like the carribean and he had to die by being stung right in the heart by one of those stingrays. i also feel sorry for his family

He was the best for any animal channel. His children might take his job too. He was very dedicated at and devoted to his job. So devoted that he increased my interest on crocs(I thought they were dumb creatures). I don't know how his family, no...not his family the whole world would feel. It is difficult to tell anythingabout him, let's pray that he lives a good afterlife.

I don't feel a bit sorry for him, as he died doing what he loved. Had he died in, say, a car crash, yea, I'd feel sympathy.
I do feel for his wife and two young kids, who now have no father. My heart and prayers go out to them.
