I ask only that you try to keep an open mind, read it through to the end and then give me your impressions about it. Thank you.

OK, I know there's a lot to read, but I am disappointed that only one person has taken a little time out of his busy day even if he was only curious. If you can't manage to read it word for word, then skim it. There's a lot in the article that you won't hear about in your typical news report but it will definitely give you a little more to chew on and maybe a differerent perspective on the crises in Lebanon. Common people, take the challenge. If you agree with what you read here, Great, If you learn something, even better, if you think it's just a bunch of claptrap, let me know that too. Ok do we have a deal. There's a best answer out there for some lucky person.

Hi.

I understand the article in two aspects:

1. This slippery slope of war based on apocalyptic rhetoric in contrast to identifible legal causation followed by measured responses is dangerous.

2. History is always history via the victor.

I believe the best solution to peace in that region is an integrated country, e.g. Lebanon, Israel, and Gaza, where there are NO ethnic exceptions, 'right of return' is abolished, and government is based on U.S. principles of democracy.
