I have this friend here in Dunedin N/ Zealand,He has a wicked tallent on making clothes that also has a pretty cool name and logo.In the past he has made jeans and stuff for some other friends to what they exaclly want in a pair of clothing. What would be a good marking idea? does he go to stores around town eg. Cheapskates which are also nation-wide and try sell it to them or go at it alone? We reallise that it is if tough choice to make because if it becomes hudge he needs to set aside money for extra staff to keep up with product manafacturing, should he make up some clothing then see what other companies think that he could sell to,if it takes of it would end up being a brand like Vans,Converse,Rusty,Roxy.A group of us see the potential of it turning into a mainstream name.He doesn't plan on making it as expensive as the other names listed but of the same if not better quility, and will also make clothes to suit a customer like one of my friends wanted a pair of jeans with 16 pockets

Hi there. Great job!

Well all I could suggest for your friend is to start his own website and promote all his creations there. He could first target buyers and when it is really good, then he is ready to market to big companies. But first, focus first on making a name. There are now many shoppers online and I think from what you just said, your friend will get into good web marketing. He could also put up a small store and make a little fashion show to really call attention.

Good luck!
