I never tried to have an avatar, I just can´t stand looking at avatars!.. do you feel the same?

They make everyone look good. That's why I hate them. And oh, if there's anything I hate it's making people equal like the old USSR concept...
I'm not suggesting that good, normal, and bad looking avatars be made but I just hate them and this everyone should use a picture of themselves instead...

i feel the same about smileys in some messengers, sometimes they are ugly for real.
But I think yahoo avatars are sweet, you can tell a lot about the person just looking at the avatar. I have an avatar and i look very close to it.

I don't really hate them. I just think they have no value. They probably don't look like the people and all look the same. It's sort of like in the Bob the Builder cartoon

i dont use it and if you dont like it 1 thing to do click on start /control panel /add/ remove look in the list for Avatars click on it once then click remove problem fixed

Hey in case you haven't noticed, most users here utilize avatars. I think you need an avator, butth.ole.

I would much rather see what people use to represent themselves than a boring, blank, grey box.
