The question of "whether the egg comes first or the chicken" remains a paradox that remains unsolved. It is yet to be scientifically explained. but logically the chicken should come first, may be in some form or the other. It is not possible to lay eggs by any organism other than hen. But a hen may have been evolved in some form or the other years ago to reach the final form. The best thing is to wait for scientists to explain this rather than groping answers.
