I make jewlery, mainly earrings, but I don't know how or where to sell them. I attend university, so I don't have time to purposely sell them, but I do need to make some extra cash to compensate my expenses. All the earrings are mostly under ten dollars. Any ideas how or where i can sell them? My friend suggested ebay or craigslist, but then the buy would have to pay shipping fee, its quite a hassel.

Try making a display book of some kind on your computer, print it out and maybe with word of mouth you could sell some of your jewellery at uni. The only other way I can think of is if you either approach a gift store to see if they will sell them, they would obviously take a percentage of the sales, or set up at a market someplace on a saturday or sunday.

If none of the above helps, then I suggest ebay would be your better option, at least you can do that in your own time, and shipping for jewellery would not cost alot.

you can try ebay, craigslist.com, or just spreading the word around to friends, make flyers and pass them around, set up a table in front of a busy place near campus or else where (i'm not sure abou the laws on this one).... with craigslist, the buy doesnt necessarily have to pay for shipping. For craigslist, you can list your stuff in your area then people can choose whether they want you to mail it or they just can met you somewhere.

You could take them to the markets on saturday or sunday cause jelery sells fast there trust me I know if that is'nt a good time go to all the major events and set up a desk with all your 'products'or you could simply get people to ask around .

You could try going to a major jewlery store and setting up there outside or in !

invest in a website, and take a lot of nice macro shots of your jewelry. make sure the website is clearly understandable, and visually well featured. include price and ordering information, and someone just might buy it.
