I've tried lotions, soaking and using a pumic stone, but they haven't worked. My heels are cracked so bad that they hurt and some have started to bleed. Is there any way to correct this?

You will think I have lost my mind, but Vick's Vapo-Rub can be applied to the dried, cracked areas and overnight it will be 100% better! If you can't stand the smell, you can use white petroleum jelly, but it's not as good. You might want to put some lightweight socks on when you go to bed to avoid getting oily stains on your sheets.

I have very bad dry and cracked heals as well. And what I do is I get vaseline and put alot on my feet. Then I put 2 pairs of socks on my feet. I only do this at bedtime so that I wont be up and walking around. And by the time morning comes they are a little better. And if you will do this for about 3 days you wont believe how much better they look. I also use a pumic stone after I have used the vaseline for about 3 days. Hope this helps ya!

My heels get like that too!

A pumice is useless on my feet but some really rough sandpaper works WONDERS. Just get a piece of the rough kind and spend some time smoothing out your heels. Then, cover them, and I mean COVER them in vaseline and put on some socks. They should be better the next morning but if not, just repeat.

It'll work, I promise!

you may like to try rice bran oil, it is high in vitamin E. i haven't tried it on cracked heels but it worked absolute wonders on cracked and dry elbows on an older person. Well worth getting a bottle as it is excellent as a face and body moisturizer. It needs a little time to be absorbed into the skin, once absorption takes place no residual problems at all. It is excellent to cook with , healthy with a very high burn point, much better than olive oil.Hope this is helpful

If lotions haven't worked for you, you should really go to a doctor. If you say your heels have started to bleed, it is serious and you need medical attention. It is very possible you get an infection if they bleed. Until then, use moisturizing creams and wash the area with a lot of soap and water.

Mine get that way every now and then, Just because i hate shoes and spend alot of time on the beach. I have a scraper with a razor blade on it, Cuts a lil bit at a time, Almost like shaves it off. Also a lil thingy that looks like a file for sheetrock, I bought both items at Wal-Mart. Both work great with results right then..

Try Vaseline foot/heel treatment! Its good. Sometimes when I am around at the house, I put on some of that lotion and wear my socks to keep'em moist.

You can also try to use foot and heal lotions that contain peppermint, such as the Body Shop ones. They come in foot scrub, lotion, and foot spray! It works.

You may also want to try Lavender lotion on your heals

I love the cracked heel relief cream sold by Avon. It's in their foot care product line. GL
