Batman Begins BY FAR.. thats like putting pee wee herman in a fight with Mike Tyson LOL. Superman Returns fatal flaw was how it began, It was like walking in on the middle of a play, you feel like you missed EVERYTHING. They should have just began from the beginning, Kalel arriving on earth.

Batman Begins was a brilliant film, by a brilliant director in Christopher Nolan. IT was actually a FILM, and not a comic book put to film like the Tim Burton/ Joel Schumacher films were. Batman Begins really did something that the first films did NOT. It got across, thanks to Christian Bale, the fact that what Bruce Wayne becomes (Batman) REALLY is a direct result of his GUILT over his parents death. Not his anger over them dieing, but the GUILT he felt believing they died because of HIM. And him becoming the Batman is how he lashes out, trying to ease his guilt,,, but since he cant, he keeps trying, over and over again... great film.

Batman Begins because it had a great plot, good actors, it changed the usual format of a Batman movie in a very good way (ie it was darker), it made Batman more human and it was so much fun to see how it all started out. Superman was the same as usual, Batman was breath-taking!!

Definitely Batman... I stay throughout the whole movie and enjoyed every moment of the show..

The first time when I watched the original superman by Reeves flys.. I went wow...

But the new superman... it's almost a replica or clone and the movie is so one level boring.. I simply cannot remember any scene in that show.. oh yes there is one... WHY promote or permit cigarattee smoking by the lead actress when you know so many kids are going to watch the movie... MMMMMMM

Batman Begins is way better. The Superman flick was just lame.

Batman was actually awsome cauze it was made for adults not children and it actually brought back the darker Batman as it should be. Story was good and actors credible.

Superman was super(pun) for several reasons: The new actor Brandon Routh was actually worthy for Reeves part and he even looked like him! He had the purity and the body to play the part. It was refreshing to see the Savior back on Earth. Luthor played by Kevin Spacey was just as good as Gene Hackman. Seriously though I think both stories are just remakes of the original one only better in all ways. I love superheroes so I think both deserve 2 thumbs up.

I enjoyed Batman starts off extra suited, in particular through fact i'm extra of prepared on bats. I did like Superman Returns, yet felt it became a splash anti-climactic and can desire to have stayed extra true to the comics rather of attempting to pay homage/proceed the Salkind movies. Batman starts off became a extra suited fulfillment as a action picture, IMO, through fact it began anew and confirmed us a clean universe from the directorial form of Christopher Nolan. BB became extra thrilling too.

both are not as great as Spiderman, plots wise, screen play wise or even visual effect. but if you force me to choose then i'll choose Superman. Simply because i haven't watched the red underwear flashing man of steel for 3 decades and this is the first. So it's kinda great to see him in action again. but the plot sucks like hell.

for batman, i minus some points just because of Christian Bale, he seems so damn lame even in that black rubber suit and worse without one.
