Ian Huntley is simply a drain on humanity's resources. I can never understand why such people are kept alive. His long term incarceration will cost us millions of pounds while we're being beset by all the forces of nature. Breeding far too many of our kind will be the death knell of our kind. As for Huntley getting too much medication, well that's a joke if you read the recent report on our prison service and staff.

Security is apparently lax. However, if clever enough, inmates can hide capsules and tablets in their mouths to appear as if they were swallowed. They can be spat out and collected when alone. Maybe they need to employ more rigourous oral examinations after administering the inmates' medication.

Like the others said...he saved up his antidepressants and took them all in one go...just glad he hasn't managed to kill himself...I think he should stop taking the easy way out and rot in jail for 40 years....even that won't be enough for the crime he comitted !!!

The news said he was under observation because he had stashed up his anti-depressants and tried it before. They think his fellow inmates may have saved them up for him this time.

Many Prison Warders are corrupt enough to supply him (and others) what they want to compensate for their poor pay.

Do you not watch prison break or similar shows? prisoners can get mostly anything they want apart from freedom.
