Probably never. Makeup was meant to hide flaws and this day and age people generally don't have the scars and pot marks from diseases. If they do have a scar, nude makeup works best. Most women see flaws that are not there and wear makeup way past their prime. This makes them look more like a clown than beautiful. I would say they should wear makeup only in a business setting so that would put them in their late teens or early twenties. Even in the hustle of the business world, a woman might not have time to correct a smudge and who wants to watch a 40 year old woman try to pass off a multimillion dollar deal with eyeliner all over her cheek?

What is your skin like? Do you need to wear makeup at all? I never liked makeup. I am constantly complimented on my skin. I'm 31 and get mistaken for being a high school student ALL THE TIME. Yeah, I'm short but I also just look young. I credit it to taking good care of my skin and not wearing makeup. I do wear eye makeup now and then and I started that when I was about 13.

Makeup ruins Ur skin, so wait as long as possible before starting to ware makeup. If and when u start try to go as light and natural as possible, maybe just a little gloss and blush. Young skin is probably the most beautifully thing in the face of the earth, so use Ur natural strenghs and leave stuff like heavy foundation till Ur much much older.

well for something like cover-up, I think a girl can begin using that whenever they start getting zits or pimples. People can be cruel so i have no problem if a girl starts young with coverup. And i really dont care how young a girl is when she starts wearing colored lips gloss. But for things like eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, or blush, I think you should be at least in high school 14-15, but even then its really unnecessary. Once you get to 16-18 then i thinks its more acceptable. I really didnt start wearing make-up until i graduated from high school and then it was only mascara and a little eyeliner.

My 14 year old neice is only allowed to wear eyeliner right now. I told her that she could start wearing lip gloss when she was grow and/or out of my house.
Honestly, I don't think she needs anything else. She's a very beautiful girl, and lots of the boys in her school like here without all the make-up.

You should start wearing make up when you start cleansing, toning and moisturising. Make up leaves a lot of residue on your skin and if you don't cleanse properly it can lead to clogged pores. This as you know causes acne. You should only start using toners when your skin is ready because toners can be harsh and damage sensitive skin. You may not see it now but you will in the future. If you really want ot wear make up start with just lip gloss and mascara. It makes a big difference.

Whenever she feels she needs to! I started wearing a little mascara and lipgloss for special occasions when I was about 11, and wearing full makeup on a daily basis when I was 14. But I never looked covered in it - just concealer, foundation for my oily T zone and tinted moisturiser for my cheeks, clear lipgloss, brown eyeliner and brown mascara. It just depends on the girl!

I think a girl shouldn't start wearing make up before 18. Anyway it is always preferable to be natural.
