Right now there are roughly 300 million people in the U.S. alone (give or take a few).... So far the war has cost roughly 1 trillion. And will probably be another trillion before it's all said and done. So what I'm saying is that had we not gone to war, and say distributed that money among Americans, we could of all been millionaires. Each and every one of us.

I think the war in Iraq is absolutely ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I support our troops. I support them coming home. Amen

How can some people be so blind as to say war is never worth it. Sure it is ugly and a lot of terrible things happen but there has also been many great things that have come out of them. The civil war to end slavery, world war 2 and the defeat of the nazis, the pacification of Japan, the war of independence freedom of domination by the English, not to mention all of the technology that has been gained. It is a very naive thing to say. As far as Iraq is concerned I think it is still way to early to tell.

Any war, for that matter including the war in Iraq, is never
worth it. Firstly, innocent lives are lost and people in general
suffer gravely. Secondly, war has never solved any problem,
except to obtain the power and domination over a country's weakness. Thirdly, war by force will not guarantee peace in
the region because the vanquished will plan and fight again
and again until the total destruction of human beings.

Absolutly NOT! We should stick to finding Bin Laden in Afghanistan not starting a new war for no reason in Iraq. We had no business there. It may have seemed good to get rid of Sadam, but the chaos that has filled the vacuum of power is in many ways worse than the Sadam regime. People are without power, and can't walk down the street without getting shot and blown up. We have created a mess, and now we can't even fix it.

Hell yes. We have all of these bombs sitting in storage. The shelf life was about to expire. That would have been a helluva waste.
The ragheads hate us anyway so why not use them on them. Besides we have all of this new war technology that needs to be tested before we get into a real scrap. But seriously. Did you want any of those fanatical mother f ers to gain nuclear arms technology. Their credo is kill Westerners (aka white people).
I'm black and American and I know they would not have a problem killing me to get their point across. And believe it or not. It's not G Bush's fault. Bin Laden was trying to F us up when Monica Lewinski was taste testing Bill Clinton's nuts.

Depend on where you are writing from. If you are sitting on your couch complaining about gas and making up conspiracy theories, then no! But, if you are actually over here like myself and actually see versus being told then, yes! Just my opinion though. You have never seen a terrorist face to face. ( I have) Let me tell you something; a lot of them don't hate American, they hate that their country is not like America. They hate America because it cost a lot of money (in their opinion) to get over there compared to what they make a month. Also from a religious standpoint also it has been a great success. I have seen many convert to Christianity. YOu know why? Because they are less scared of consequences. Instead of being forced with violence. So, to gain one additional member of the body of christ, yes it is well worth it. I did't vote for Bush, but people automatically equate Bush with the war. Did you know Pres. Clinton struck Afganistan also? Islamic Extremist are born to hate American (hence 9/11). Bush didn't provoke this. Bin Laden spoke of 9/11 even when Clinton was in office. He warned of the attack (customary in Islam; must warn and invite to convert to Islam). Bin laden spoke beforehand that he will hit the U.S, so why is Bush getting all the hate? Because he didn't want to just spank the terrorist for hitting U.S assests like Clinton (when al-queada bomb embassies in Africa), but instead destroy the people that threatens the life of Americans and our kids? I don't want my kids to grow up in fear. That's why I am frontline fighting as we speak. I hope you guys stop listening to the news because we all know that they have a political agenda. it is hurting us. We need to Unite as Americans, European, and anyone who enjoy freedom. You guys will follow the wind. I bet you would have been in the group that critisize Jesus. I'm not saying that Bush isn't at all in fault, but instead saying that a lot people are jumping on the hate Bush bandwagon because they have no mind of their own.

War is never worth it, but finally giving opportunities, like a better life to folks, yes, it's worth it. Please, let people live without fear of life, love, or lack of choices.
