unification means developin a common undrstandin f all d laws f nature, includin frm d wrld f smallest f things (atoms) 2 d largest (galaxies n universe). Unification is inherent in nature, as many theories wich hv bin unified show, eg electricity n magnetism = electromagnetism.
Imagine dt evrythin u cn think f, frm atoms to galaxies to black holes to planets.... ,all cn b understood by just one theory, a superformula..who wunt b tempted 2 find such a theory.
goal fr unification is d Holy Grail f modern physics.

We all know that there are many kinds of forces in nature. earlier, electric force and magnetic force were supposed to be to different forces until maxwell founded the laws of electromagnetism which is actually a relatuion between the 2 forces.Since, then they are known as electromagnetic forces. It became easier to explain the cause of their existence after researching on these laws. This left us with 4 forces, electromagnetic, gravitational, nuclear and weak.Scientists have got cluew that these forces just like electrcity and magnetism were united as a single unified force inside the dense material which finally broke into big bang. So, they are still trying to find the relation between these forces.
If somehow, they found the relation than we can say most of the mysteries will be solved ..about string theory, about parallel universe, about other 12 dimensions, about speed of light,etc...because all these mysteries in one way or another is related to the unification of forces.

the fundamental forces in universe are Strong nuclear force ,weak nuclear force, weak nuclear force and gravitational force. In explaining problems involving these we have to move to diffrent platforms according to wt are the forces involved. We are looking for a fundamental thing from which all the forces can originate. So that we can explain all the phenomena in the universe using that.we have to answer quesions like wt are responsible for properies like mass , charge etc. Current mainstream physics concepts require a TOE to unify all the fundamental interactions of nature, which are usually considered to be four in number: gravity, the strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, and the electromagnetic force; it should also explain the spectrum of elementary particles. There has been progress toward a TOE in unifying electromagnetism and the weak nuclear force in an electroweak unified field theory and in unifying all of the forces except for gravity (which in the present theory of general relativity is not a force) in the grand unification theory. One missing piece in a theory of everything involves combining quantum mechanics and general relativity into a theory of quantum gravity.

We know a lot about electricity, and something about magnetism. We also understand something about light, radiation, and gravity. We may not know what they are, but do understand things about them.

If we can produce a mathematical model that links all these forces together, we may be able to find ways to manipulate them better.

Variables that are introduced into mathematical models such as quarks and tachyons are there because they have to be based on our limited understanding. They are the results of of both our mathematical expertise and our ignorance.

If there is a usable link between these forces, then all kinds of new developments will follow. Just imagine a world without transistors. An iPod would be as large an a small apartment and require thousands of kilowatts to operate. The development of solid state electronics has changed the world.

What about solid state gravitometrics? Electrogravity? Magneto-gravity? Optigravometrics?

;-D Who knows? That is why they try to figure it out.

Unified forces only happened during the first billionths of a second after the big bang. Elecromagnatic force, force of gravity, strong nuclear force, weak nuclear fore and so on... were all one force.

It could never happen again in this universe. But if it did (but some act of god) The universe as you know it would not exist. Nothing would be as it is now. It would be chaos.

i don't be responsive to that there is any direct income. i think of it would create various amusement for a couple of minutes, like triumphing the lottery. And in a while we would be style of proud we would finished it, like we are approximately relativity and quantum concept and issues like that. yet while the dirt settles, it probable would not answer any of the rather enormous questions. it may regulate slightly the way we take under consideration the enormous questions. i'm uncertain it concerns notwithstanding if some thing is a tension, or a fluctuation of spacetime. the two way, i don't think of we've any deep information of what the two element is.
