Try oil treatment at your local salon! Hot or cool... Ask them to massage it into your hair, that way you are nourishing your hair/head... allowing blood movement in their which is healthy.

You may also wanna buy coconut oil, which work wonders for dry hair... it gives shine and softness!

A good home remedy can be mayonnaise! Yes mayo gives shine and softness.... massage it into hair, leave it on for 30 minutes or so, then shampoo and style as usual.

Try to minimize your hair dryer usage... Avoid drying your hair when its really wet. Once your out of the shower, towel dry your hair, and dont dry it with the hair dryer right away. Put on body lotion all over your body and so to give your hair some time to dry a bit before styling it.. and dont use very high temp when drying it.

Use shampoo and hair conditioner of the same brand... they have to be twins! That is what I believe in. Make sure you buy good brand, such as Kanebo.

If you sit a lot in the sun, and tan... make sure you buy hair sun protection... yes, there is such product.

Good Luck ;)

Grind a coconut, get its pulp and squeeze it in order to get coconut milk. Now apply this coconut milk not only on ur hair but also on the scalp. Try a bit of massaging too while applying. Leave it on for 1 hr and then wash it off with a very mild shampoo. Repeat this once in 3 days. This makes ur hair soft and silky and at the same time makes it jet black in colour. I heard this is what Keralites do which is why they have long, soft and black hair.

For a professional hot oil treatment, try saturating your hair with Olive, sesame or corn oil. Run the hottest water possible over two towels in your washing machine. After the towels are wet, turn the machine on the spin cycle. Wrap your head in Plastic wrap, or aluminum foil before applying the wet towels. Wait 20 minutes.

The hair is dry means, there is not enough moisturisers. Apply oil and take a bath. Use milder shampoos not clinic plus or sunsilk. Go for shampoos like Pantene or you can also try some baby shampoos. never use soaps on your head.

Use shampoos after application of oil.
