Why don't you try Mozilla Thunderbird instead? It's good, free, and works the same as Outlook Express.

You can download it here:

You need not buy it seperately. It comes with Windows OS pack. Try this:

Insert Windows OS CD into your CDROM.
Next opt install optional components.
There select Outlook and go on installing.

Then you get an icon on desktop to Outlook. Check it and configure your outlook express.

You need to have POP/IMAP server access to set your outlook express. Most of the free e-mail services don't provide free access to POP server( they get income on adds they give on thier site). So first know about your e-mail service provider. Then set outlook express.

hi..
assuming you mean outlook express, and not outlook,(comes with office)
you need to install internet explorer, as OE comes with IE
i would reccomend clearing your windp=ows update files, crom c root, and windows root. then going IE6 SP1 or 7CR1

it shouldnt be an option, in 6.. you just get it..
try and download, the complete installer, and files, instead of running it of the msoft website..

You can't just "Get it". If you bought a windows operating system it would come with it. If you buy an office product it has it in there.
