The animation is the same and the characters look the same. Does anyone know which one came first?

Scooby-Doo was originally broadcast on CBS from 1969 to 1976
Josie and the Pussycats debuted on the CBS Saturday morning lineup on September 12, 1970.

Both Hanna Barbera, but scooby doo was first animated. Josie was written first and come right out of Archie comics in the 60's.

The similarity is not surprising as both were Hanna-Barbera Productions cartoons. Scooby first aired in 1969 followed the next year by Josie.

Scooby-Doo. Josie was a copy-cat, if you can excuse the pun, living off of Scooby's popularity and appealing to the girl population.
