I find myself rarely drinking water. One glass per meal. But that is obviously not enough for my body. I tend to "forget" to drink water. Does anybody have any great ideas to motivate - or remind - me to drink water? That would be a lot of help. Thanxs in advance!

To motivate you...
always think that when you drink water, it'll cleanse your body from toxins. And you'll not feel hungry coz water gives you a feeling of fullness.

I would suggest you buy some bottled water and try to always carry a bottle with you. If you have a car keep a few bottles in it as spares.

Make it a point to start each day carrying the water to the car and putting one in your purse or wherever you can most effectively carry it.

If you have an appointment keeper on your computer at work or at home put reminders on it to drink water.

Don't overdo it, but you are right. You should drink a lot more water than you are drinking now.

Put a few slices of lemon in a pitcher of water and put it in the refrigerator. Every time you open the door, pour yourself a glass of water. The lemon in the water will make it taste more refreshing, plus add some extra citrus to your diet. Just remember that keeping yourself well hydrated helps keep your skin looking good. Also, drinking cold water helps you lose weight! It takes extra energy for your body to warm up the cold water you drink, thus burning extra calories, that lead to losing weight. What helps me is to fill a big nalgene bottle with water, get a long straw, and squeeze in some lemon or something to give it a bit of flavor. I tend to drink it all fairly quickly if I'm on the computer or watching a movie or reading, becaues it becomes mindless to just sip it through the straw.

I find I drink more water if I have bottled water in my house. Buy some of those Crystal Light packets (I use Wal Mart brand, and you get 10 for under 2 bucks, Orange is my favorite, fruit punch is my boyfriend's favorite). They have no calories and no sugar. Just set them out on the counter in your kitchen to remind you to drink water. They taste soooo good.

I had to quit bringing soda into the house to drink. I now use the $ I used to spend on soda on bottled water. They add minerals to it so it tastes better. I also sometimes but some lemon juice in my water. Also, try those crystal light on the go packs you add to a bottle of water. It helps cause you aren't thinking that you are drinking water. Get excessively thirsty. There is nothing more delicious than a glass of cold, clean water to quench your thirst.

Go to wal-mart or any super market and pick up some flavored water. My favorite is Strawberry-kiwi flavored water.
