why is it that humans even when notice that we have a flaw, find it hard, nay impposible to change it. in the animal kingdom, if they do something and figure out its wrong, the dont do it again. humans make the same mistakes over and over, since it seems like forever. and im not just talking about the big ones every society seems to talk about, but also the small ones everyone seem to make on a daily basis. so why is it we repeat the thing we know we shouldn't repeat. what is mess up in our heads.

People make the same mistakes over and over because they refuse to learn from them. People in general are remarkably lacking in self-awareness. They can fix another person's problem but can't see they are having exactly the same one. Like a woman who says, "Why does Jane stay with that @sshole? All she does is talk about how he treats her bad and then stays with him. I'm tired of hearing it," not realizing the girlfriend she's talking to is thinking the exact same thing about her. It's a vicious circle and it takes an extremely self-aware person to stop getting caught in it.

If we differentiate emotional mistakes and physical mistakes, we are not ALL that different: after putting your hand on the hot stove, you'll avoid doing it again..

Nevertheless, when emotions come into play, many humans are controlled by them..

And emotions are non-learning..

Thus, if emotions rule an individual, the learning that the individual might have acquired will not necessarily be applied in the decision making..

Thus, sh*t happens..

1. There are infinitely too many variables for something to ever actually happen twice EXACTLY the same way
2. It is experience that informs behaviour, not advice. People will make their own mistakes because they are unwilling to take the experience of others as substitute for personal experience

The reasons are
1. Those who are lazy doesn't want to change.
2. They don't want to take responsibility.
3. They don't want to learn,
4. They are so stubborn, they don't want to learn, experiment and know.
Only those people do the same mistakes again and again. Those who want to learn, doesn't have this problem.

Humans have compassion, so we don't thin out the weak genetic material like other species do. There's such as thing as social Darwinism, but it's very unfashionble.

We believe that we are infallible. Hence, we do not learn from our mistake. We spend our time pontificating, commenting on others, ridiculing others actions and intents. Each one of us believe that when something goes against us, it is fate conspiring against us/God is testing us/We are unlucky..etc, but when something goes against others, it is because of his stupidity.
