Just ignore them, strangers opinions don't matter because they don't love you or have your best interests at heart. All they're doing is projecting their own insecurities onto you, and showing the world how hurt and scared and confused they are. Once you realize that no one else can tell you who you are, then you're free to follow your own passions and dreams in life, and become someone wonderful. The response to them is: "Why would I care what you think, your criticisms mean nothing to me?"

Small minds with a major case of immaturity unfortunately. The boys are scared you might be better than them and they can't handle that. The girls are mad cause the boys are paying attention to you. Personally I think the dimwits are scared that they'll become the butt of the scorn and jokes like you are right now. FORGET THEM,their NOTHING. What they say has no merit or substance. Hang in there and good luck.

Anyone who is different from the mainstream will get teased and harassed by stupid, ignorant, and fearful people.

It gets somewhat better as you get older. By the time you're ready to graduate from high school, most of your peers will have matured a bit. If you go on to university, you'll find that educated people -- though they definitely have their own prejudices -- are less threatened by athletic girls who are confident about their physical abilities.

Hang in there! Don't betray yourself by trying to be someone you aren't! IT WILL GET BETTER.

Just continue to be yourself. I was teased in school too. I went on to college and continue to have many friends to this day. People who make fun of you feel threatend by you. I say hold your ground and don't sell out on anyone; including the person it means most to, yourself! remember it is always better to leave your own trails then to follow paths. You'll find your way : ) !!

teenagers are funny that way, the important thing is that you be true to yourself, make sure no matter what happens you can accept and like who you are and then you'll find that it matters less and less what the others think
