dress in drag it seems to be a precursor to stardom, i.e. scott wieland, james maynard keenan, david bowie, kurt cobain, rod stewart, iggy pop etc.

Depends on your style of music ;; If you do straight up Rock n' Roll then go for Famous Dead Rockers - - - a mustard-brown tailcoat and dark glass frames and you are Buddy Holly - - - actually from that same air crash your most Hispanic appearing member becomes Ritchie Valens and the heaviest becomes the Big Bopper, also wearing mustard-brown or white w/ brown piping tailcoat and a spit curl. Buddy Holly too tame, Joey Ramone is Dead - - - - be the Dead Ramones - - leather & jeans. - - - - A way out of left field approach is toi be Superheros; who is your favorite, maybe Batman, you can either make the rest of the Band various Batman icons, Robin a big maybe (noi one really likes the boy toy) The Joker and The Riddler most definitely, BatGirl, if you can, gotta give the audience a little T & A.
Or various Super heros - - - Superman on Lead, Captain America on Bass, Green Hornet on Drums. And completely out pf left field one band that I know went as Seasemee Street Icons - - - and the ectacy wasted crowd thought it was a hook seeing Cookie Monster wailing on a stratocaster. - - - - And if you are a talented handsome singer you can never go wrong as Elvis. fashion is my thing... wear black baggy pants a black T - Shirt black shoes and lots of silver jewellrey and piercings... ( They can be FAKE )
