x=2
4*4-3y=11
-3y= -1

(4*2) - 3y = 11
10 -3y =13
8 - 3y = 11
18 - 6y = 24
18 - 24 = 6y
-6 = 6y

Subtract the bottom equation from the top one.
5x - 3y = 13
-4x + 3y = - 11
- - - - - - - -- - -
x = 2
If x = 2, then:
5 (2) - 3y = 13
And
- 3y = 13 - 10 = 3 so 3y = -3 y = - 1
