Firstly, you will need to ensure that your music is in digital format and on your hard drive.
However, if this is already the case you should simply follow the instructions on the software you are using to burn your CD. I have done this with Nero and Hotburn. Usually it is simply a matter of drag and drop, pressing OK when complete. The difficulty comes when you want a CD that will auto run. If your CD software does not offer this, there are quite a few free, as well as commercial, auto run programs on the market.

1)http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/gmm/fwcdburn.html take your pick of freeware cd writing programs.
2)use windows media player to rip desired audio tracks off cd's or download desired tracks in mp3( the computer will convert the files to wav format automatically during the writing process)
3)then use selected program to compile tracks in an order of your choice onto a cd, the order represent the track number.

windows xp will do it by its self put all songs into a folder open the folder highlight the songs right click and send to disc,
you can also use windows media player or nero etc
