I had a similar thing happen to me after I started taking certain vitamins. For me it was the Omega 3 Fish Oil, and also Vitamin E. I'm not sure why it happens to some people, but I do know that these are fat-soluable supplements. You can kind of "mini-OD" on them. I started taking the fish oil every other day, rather than every day, and it took care of the problem. No more nausea!
Since your sickness started after you started taking the multi-vitamin, I'd say you've got your "cause and effect." Try cutting back to every other day and see what happens. Also, try a different brand of multi-vitamin. Maybe that's the problem. It might not be a good one you're taking.
If this doesn't work, then do see your doctor. Maybe something else is going on that you don't know about. It happens. Good luck!

It sounds like you have some kind of virus. But since you are having such bad headaches, I think you should consider going to the Dr. You don't want to play around if it's meningitis or something. Any time you have vomiting with a killer headache this is a concern, so go to the ER or right to your Dr, like now. I don't think multi-vitamins could have caused this unless you took too many or happen to be allergic to one of the ingredients. But the only way to find out is to stop taking them and see if you get better, so yes, stop taking the vitamins for a few days. If you feel better then you know it's something about the vitamins. Ask your Dr. at your next visit why they could have caused these symptoms in you. Most people don't really need a multi-vitamin anyway, just eat healthy. And eat a bowl of cereal every day, most cereals are full of vitamins.

I agree with your first answerer's comment. You do need to see a doctor.
Here's why:
You could be suffering due to changes in your hormone levels, or you may have a migraine; you could be allergic to the coating on the vitamin pills, or you may have something far more serious, such as blood pressure problems or even a brain chemistry disorder (which is more common than most people think).
You are not in a position to diagnose yourself -- especially when you are feeling so sick -- but your body is trying to tell you that something is wrong. It could be fixed very simply, or it might need special, expert treatment.
Don't ignore these serious warning signs. Please see a doctor and give yourself a chance to get well as soon as possible and NOT get worse!

I really do think that you need to go see a doctor. As an above answer said, you could have something very serious wrong. Anytime you're having headaches like that, you need to see a doctor! I say this because less than a month ago, a lady that I work with lost her daughter to blood clots in the brain.(She dies within a week of being diagnosed and she was only 15) She had been having headaches for a week or so and finally went to the doctor. Please...have it checked out! Don't over react...just be careful and take care of yourself :0)

Probably not the vitamins making you sick if you are taking them according to directions printed onthe bottle. Could just be a virus.
Try this: Don't take any more vitamins for about one week. If you are feeling ok by then, try taking the vitamins again. If you get sick again you will know not to take them anymore.

It is the weather....haze is back in s'pore n the past few days have been raining.....so a combination of heat and cold temperature has caused many people to fall ill.
If your not in Singapore then you might also be suffering from an overdose of vitamins...stop taking and see how you feel...
either that or it might be time to change your monitor....the last time i felt that was caused by the subtle flickering (cannot notice)of my old monitor....everything went well after the monitor is changed.
hope my input helps...
Cheers...

Stop taking the vitamins. After you stop taking it and you still have the same problem, than you seek doctor.
Last time I bought one bottle of multi-vitamins and it doesn't suit me after I consume it for a week.

You might be taking in too much Iron. Go to your doctor on the double because it could be serious. This happened to my cousin a few years back. Good Luck.
