w/ the date I guess. You want to let the person know when you're sending the letter. You didn't specify if you were mailing it or giving it to someone. Either way, you could have written it a long time before you send it or give it someone and you may want them to know when you wrote it. It may have some significance to your relationship to them or to something that happened between you.

Well it kind of depends if this is someone who is also in love with you or if you are just letting him/her know...
I guess you have the "Dear John" part out of the way...
You could start it by telling them ~ when I wake up in the morning, I know there is no other place I would rather be in the world than next to you.
Or - I can't imagine my life without you - and I wouldn't want to...these are the things that you make me feel - and then give examples and say that even the simplest things are more beautiful because I have you to share them with or because of you.
