Funny that you should ask, Just today I was passing by a construction site and noticed these poor workers out there in the hot sun, working so hard. It made me think about how easy life is for me compared to these poor guys. So I passed by the store, picked up a carton of soft drinks, and cold water and gave it to them. Suddenly this became an unplanned break for these folks. They all stopped working for a few minutes to enjoy the cold drinks. They all thanked me for taking the time to do this. I guess no one had ever done this for them. Not even their bosses. So they were pleasantly surprised.

Made me feel very good too.

I try real hard to do it every day. Whether it be simple like holding the door for someone with packages in their hands or pushing an older gentleman in a wheelchair delivering mothers day bows to a senior center. Little acts of kindness make a difference to at least one person every day. I'm not a saint, but I try hard at kindness.

This weekend. I moved all my things so a lady who appeared to be drunk and tired could sit down with her bottle of beer. Normally I would have moved away, but she looked like she needed the space. Last week I assisted an elderly lady in the store who needed help, but everyone just passed her by. If I can help, I usually do. Hope you hear a lot of positive responses -small like mine were and those on a large scale.

about 7 months ago I worked in a hospital and a guy came in homeless and going through DT's from alcohol he couldn't even hold a cup of water and he was terrible dehydrated anywayz I got to talking to the guy and I went out and spent about a 100 dollars in stuff this guy would need since he didn't have a home like new clothes, shoes, bug bite stuff etc. and I brought it up to him while he was still there anywayz this stupid nurse out of the blue said that I was trying to get his chart from her to find out about his medical history ummmmm I work there I have access to his chart why would I need to plea with her to get it is the question anywayz long story short I didn't want anything in return I didn't want people thinking that I done it to be seen or get fame from it but long story short I ended up getting wrote up for it b/c they took her word over mine and she never came up with a reason as to why I would even want the chart o well stupid is as stupid does but that is the last time I did a random act of kindness and what makes it so rewarding is that I was behind in my own bills but I could make more money but may not have another chance to help someone in need

There are these 3 girls that work at my academic advising center. They're real sweet and hardworking everytime I go in.

So for kicks I had some flowers delivered to them saying "To the cutest and most hardworking girl I know", no name. I never got to see the look on their faces but I'm assuming it'd brighten up their day.
