YES!! I totally agree with you - it's gone to the dogs in the last few years - Coronation Street is miles better. And what's with all the doom and gloom? Isn't anybody allowed to smile in Walford? It depresses me when i watched it so i just stopped - i was addicted to it all along and now you couldn't pay me to sit through an episode of it.

JUST AXE IT PLEASE!!

I think the story/scriptwriters should eb axed, the programme no longer has any 'balls', just full of very long drawn out story lines, nothig is realistic anymore, while I realise we don;t want to necesarily watch real life on the TV in a drama, there are previous storylines where really gutsy issues were dealt with properly. Its not a realistic portrayal of life now, where's the drug addicts, alcoholics, lazy gits on the dole, the mix of nationaities doesnt reflect the Uk now either, either sack the script writers or send it to an obscure channel

I love Eastenders... but the story line with Minty and that irritating aussie SJ is doing my head in. Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like she is planting a seed to have Minty marry her to stay in the UK. I would say by next Tuesdays episode she'll be telling him her Visa is about to run out! How predictable!!! What would be better if is Garry told Phil about her manipulation and all thats gone on so that she is paid a wee visit and sent on her way!! Eastenders script writers are you listening!!!!!????!!!!

I have watched Eastenders since it started in 1985, but have really gone off it in the last 2 years. Now havent watched it for the last 3 months, cos it is rubbish as the story lines are so stupid.

IMO they need to bring back both mitchell brothers. it's all too wishy washy. speaking as a big fan of enders, i haven't watched it for a few months now - honey and billy are too irritating for words!
Bring back Phil & Grant!!

why axe it because you don't like it?

how would you like your favourite tv programme to be axed, because someone else doesn't like it?

you always have the choice of watching ITV repeats or turning the TV off and "communicating"
