Not sure if i have spelt fidgeting correctly probably not!

Again for those in early pregnancy are you waking up in the middle of the night and just not able to get comfortable and go back to sleep? I dont why this is, its not because i feel hot i just cant get comfortable. What is causing this?

I found that taking a bath, even if it's in the middle of the night, could make me feel better and would put me to sleep faster.

When i was pregnant i was hotter than i normally would of been and also i couldnt get comfortable.
before you go to bed have a bath to relax you with a cup of horlicks. When you go to bed make sure the window is open so there is a breeze. Buy your self a long pillow(nearly the height of yourself) and you cuddle this at night.

When you are pregnant your body temp increases because of the extra blood flow around the body, so being hot and fidgety is normal. However, it's not just the first stages, for me it lasted all the way through. I think it's your bodies way of getting prepared for sleepless nights!!

I you are worried about it, DONT, thats probably one of the reasons you are doing it. A bit of news for you, my wife and I have been married {to each other} for 38 years. I love her to bits, and always will, however, she is so restless when asleep, I have been kicked and thumped over the years, but I still love her. Best of luck with your pregnancy,

I don't know what causes it, but it is totally normal. So much is going through your head, and going on in your body.

My midwife suggested strong chamomile tea, or homeopathic camomilla to help with sleep.
