I think they can work just like any other relationship, maybe even better because people put more efforts into them & dont take the other for granted.

You said you've been hurt before, and you dont want to go thru that again. Well, I think there's always that risk whether interracial or otherwise. You can never guarantee anything, you just have to take your chances, give it your best & hope.

Good luck!

I think they can work. The only problem is when interracial couples have children and I only say that in terms of when they get sick and need organs it's almost if not always impossible to find them~otherwise you can't help who you like or fall in love with~its up to the people involved how hard they want to work to be together :)

My father is American and my mother is Japanese. They have been married for 40 years. Proof that an interracial relationship can work.

Interracial relationships are just like any other relationship. There will be good parts and bad parts. It might be harder if one of your families is racist or doesn't want you to date outside of your race, but that's really your place to decide who you want to be with.

Don't think about race. There are good and bad people in all races. Think about what his feelings are for you. Talk to him, tell him your worries, first be friends, then if your relationship grows, let it. I am English and my wife is Japanese and we have been together for 16 years now and have three lovely children.

why not try it?

interracial relationships are normal. but like any relationships, you'll need to work for it and need to push for it. you may encounter problems but overall, the same basic relationship with different races.

i think that it is possible but that it comes wit its own set of obstacles. you face cultural differences which may come into play down the road, but if you like the guy, skin color shouldnt matter. good luck!
