Little Miss Sunshine = best comedy
World Trade Center = best drama
Pirates or V for Vendetta = best action
It all depends on which genre you prefer the most.

Best Action Movie so far this year is: Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Underworld:Evolution.
Best Comedy so far this year is: The Benchwarmers, Nacho Libre and Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby.
Best Comic Book Movie so far this year isr: Superman Returns and X-Men: The Last Stand.
Best Computer Animated Movie so far this year is: Cars, Hoodwinked and Over The Hedge.
Best Drama so far this year is: Annapolis, Click and Tristan and Isolde.
Best Horror movie so far this year is: Final Destination 3 and The Hills Have Eyes.

I haven't seen too many movies this year because there have been very few that have tickled my interest.
Tristan & Isolde- An incredible movie. Very, very good. I guess my movie of the year so far.
The Pink Panther- Best comedy so far this year (Slim pickin')
Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest- Far, far, far surpassed my expectations. Didn't like the first one very much, but this one was absolutely incredible. Okay, maybe this is my movie of the year!
V For Vendetta- Haven't seen this yet, but am really looking forward to it!

Nah, I hate remakes, so Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Jeez I'm a hypocrite!
I liked DaVinci Code and Invincible.
My fav is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but that came out in December 2005, so close to this year....

Pirates 2. Has to be the best, the films have been so boring and predictable this year. Yawn. Superman, DaVinci code, Devil Wears prada??? Yawn, Yawn, Yawn.

Techincally I felt all that the Producers was really good!
Looking forward to the next sequel of Harry Potter though.
