i cant get enough of calvin or hobbes either, he is everything a cartoon should be, funny, political, miscevious, cute, relate to everyday life, simple yet deep and complex, makes you think, makes you remember when you were young and also lets you see the world through the eyes of a child, how can it get better than that

well you quite frankly have a bad taste for comics, peanuts is classic but that was too dry most of the time, it didnt have that humor that comics are supposed to have, and zits wow, your digging deep for that one, that comic sucked

The only thing I didn't like about Calvin and Hobbes was that Calvin was so lonely and needed help. I always wished I could see him get some counseling, develop a real friendship with Suzie, learn to stand up to the bully at school, learn to pay attention better, really learn to USE his wonderful imagination and write stories or draw art, and become less dependent on his imaginary friend for companionship so he wouldn't grow up to be a maladjusted lonely adult. That's the problem with cartoons: Calvin is a kid forever, but we aren't.

Calvin and Hobbes was definitely the best cartoon of all time. They were fun-loving, honest and compassionate. They were a total joy. When they stopped being in the newspaper I stopped reading the comics. There was no joy at Mudville that night.

Calvin and Hobbes brought a smile to my face and made me laugh every Sunday morning. Yeah, I still read the comics on Sundays, but they haven't been the same since Bill Watterson retired(?).

Calvin and Hobbes rules. They need to make them into a tv show.

Yeah...you knew it was classic when you read it. Very few comics today come close, none equal it.
